My weekends are usually very busy. Most of my weekends are filled with tasks that I did not have time to complete during the work week. Some of these will be fun and relaxing things like catching lunch with my best friends on Saturday, having a book club meeting, or a game night with friends. But most of my weekend time is spent running errands, going grocery shopping, or cooking (because there is so little time for it during the week). And then there are all the little things that I let go around the house that need to be straightened up on the weekend like laundry. Then on Sunday evenings, I need to spend some time making sure I have a plan for the upcoming school week and making decisions about when I need to get certain materials ready. With all of this going on, the weekend just goes by way too fast. It's like I blink and then it's gone.

Then there's the fact that the weekends are my only chance to sleep in. Let's face it, I don't get enough sleep during the week. I just have to get up too early for work in the morning and I don't go to sleep early like I should on those nights. By the end of the week I am dragging from lack of sleep. This is crazy because I have only been going back to work for a few weeks now. I am definitely going to have to reign this in and get to bed at a more reasonable hour most nights.

So, I don't know about you, but my weekends are jam packed with stuff to do. This makes my perfect weekend look casual. It needs to be comfortable, effortless, and ready to be on the go. I need comfortable sneakers for all of my running around. Plus when they are as pretty as these pineapple print ones, who doesn't want to wear them? Accessories are a minimum on the weekend for me. I need a watch so that I can keep track of time. Other than that I will usually throw on a necklace, as they are my go to accessory.
