On The Menu: Peach Crunch Cake
I have been making this recipe for peach crunch cake since I was a young girl. It couldn't be simpler to make while still being simply crazy delicious. You likely already have all of the ingredients in your kitchen. This recipe is similar to both a peach crisp or a peach dump cake. All you have to do is take a few minutes to layer the ingredients in the pan and pop it in the oven. In less than an hour you have an incredible dessert that is never safe in my house.
Ingredients:
can sliced peaches in light or heavy syrup (approx 29 - 32 ozs.)
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick unsalted butter (cut into 16 pieces)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with nonstick spray.
3. Pour peaches into the pan and spread evenly.
4. Cover the peaches evenly with the yellow cake mix.
5. Place the 16 pieces of butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
6. Sprinkle the brown sugar and the walnuts evenly on top.
7. Bake for 40-50 minutes.
8. Serve warm (topped with ice cream) or cooled.
So yummy, love it xx
