What to Wear: Oxblood

As Fall begins and the leaves change colors we begin putting away our Spring and Summer clothes and pulling out everything that is perfect for Fall and Winter. We pull out our darker colors like oxblood. This color just exudes luxuriousness. Oxblood is a deep red color. To me it is one of those colors that draws attention and makes others take notice of you. It is chic but edgy at the same time. For these reasons I think oxblood goes the best with neutrals like black, white, creams, and navy. Maybe if you are feeling really adventurous you could pair it will a royal blue or with a mustard yellow.
I would love to own this oxblood leather jacket and these oxblood booties to create what to wear oxblood outfits in my closet. While oxblood is not one of my favorite colors I would love to own a jacket like the one mentioned above or the one in the look I created below. What are your thoughts on this color? What do you think of the look I created below?
