What to Wear: Maxi Dress

One summer wardrobe essential for me is a great maxi dress. So this week's #whattowear post is all about maxi dresses. My maxi dress needs to be a bold color or a fun print and I would also like a cute white one for summer please. In my opinion if the maxi dress is a bold color or print then you should be subtle with the accessories and opt for more neutrals. If the maxi dress is white then go bold and colorful with the accessories. In my looks I like a mix of neutrals and color usually. These dresses are effortless and can be so beautiful. The flowing skirt just adds femininity to me plus it makes it cool for summertime. To me a maxi dress is perfect when paired with a belt, cuff or bangles, and some cute flats or sandals. And if you are going to be out in the sun a lot a beautiful hat can top the look off. So what are your thoughts on maxi dresses?
