Spring: Home Necessities

With the new season most of us are thinking about new fashion trends. What are the major fashion trends for Spring this year? Then we probably also think about which of the trends we are fans of and what items we want to add to our wardrobes. So we thought about what to change or add to our look for Spring, but did you think about what to do to your home for Spring?
I'm not talking about Spring cleaning. I'm talking about how are you going to spruce your home up to show off that Spring has finally arrived. I've collected a few things that are a necessity for any home this Spring. First of all, with the warmer weather you going to want to have your friends over more often and enjoy the excellent weather. This means that you will want pretty dishes and a beautiful tray to serve food on. Bright colors, floral prints, and anything with a nautical feel would be perfect. What changes are you making for Spring and Summer? I am definitely looking into adding some bold, beautiful colors.

    There's something about spring that always makes me want new linens for my house, like sheets and towels. I don't know, something about having a fresh, fluffy start for the new season...it happens every year.

    This post has got me thinking about how I want to brighten up my space! I think the simplest way to add color is with a large bouquet of fresh flowers! I even have a "flower corner" in my den!

    One of my new goals is to try to have fresh flowers from now until at least September on the table or somewhere in my living space every day. Challenge accepted, flowers really make a difference & I hope I can keep up!

    I love all the gardeny pretty patterned plates! I'm looking at actually being able to decorate my single, since I won't have a roommate who's anti-cleaning/decoration. (Not that I'm much better, but I'm not actively against it, I'm just lazy, which is different). I'm hoping to have a really colorful room!
