Saving Lace

I have always loved lace. Lace is delicate and feminine. It is soft and beautiful. Used in the right way it can help create a whimsical, delightful atmosphere. Clothes, accessories, and decor- lace can work with the all. In the home, you really have to be careful with the lace you use. Sometimes it can end up so old and grandmothery looking. I think all of the photos above use lace in such beautiful ways, while still looking refreshing. I love the mix of lace against the distressed painted kitchen table, or lace curtains on a distressed looking window. What are you opinions on lace?

    It's just so beautiful :) I'd love to have lace curtains and some table clothes too. My mum gave me some small old dailies, love them! ^^

    My liking for lace has only started recently. For a long time I didn't really like it, it felt a little too girly/lingerie for my taste, but now I do like it.
