Confession: I am not a fan of Summer. If it was not for its few saving graces such as fireflies, vacations (although I actually prefer vacationing in the Spring and Fall), and fresh veggies and fruits I would vote to skip the entire season. The reason is simply that I hate the sweltering heat. I wish I was one of those girls who loved being outdoors this time of the year but after only a few minutes outside I am already starting to become hot, sweaty, and miserable. Maybe if I owned the lovely picnic basket and bicycle with its adorable bell and wood crate I would change my mind and have more of a reason be out enjoying the sunshine.
