Maybe it is because I grew up watching Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen on "Full House" and their dozens of direct-to-video movies that I still have a soft spot in my heart for these two sisters. Although they have shied away from acting over the years they have remained influential in Hollywood by becoming darlings of the fashion world. The last few years I have been fascinated with both Mary Kate's and Ashley's looks from Mary Kate's love for bright red lipstick to Ashley's slightly sleeker, softer look (except for their use of fur, using faux fur is just the nice thing to do girls) and I found myself very impressed with their collections for their successful clothing lines including The Row and Elizabeth & James. I'm interested in knowing if like me you grew up with the Olsens and do you feel like they are two of the newest generation of fashion icons?

I watched some of their movies as a kid, and yeah, I liked them. I'm neutral about them now. I do enjoy seeing their success in the fashion industry. They sure can dress well!

I love the olsens, I used to watch them everyday on tv when I was little.
ReplyDeleteI kind of love the Olsens... I really love Ashley. And of course I love their lines- Elizabeth & James is amazing. And I love Stylemint. I grew up with the Olsens (umm Passport to Paris was totally the best!) and I really love how influential they are in the fashion world! They didn't do the whole child star gone crazy thing. Love them!
