Strawberry Fields

I have not gotten to spend as much time as I would like in my kitchen the last few weeks. I like to spend a few hours baking each weekend but free time has been a rarity lately. Now that we are progressing further into Spring and Summer is just around the corner I am looking forward to the added abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits, especially strawberries. I cannot wait to serve either Strawberry Crisp, Strawberry Cheesecake, or Strawberry Cream Cake for dinner.

    Mm, it's been such a long time since I had fresh, domestic strawberries. I have some in the freezer, but that's not the same :)

    Ooh, all those things look delicious! But seriously, if you have a strawberry field anywhere near you that allows picking, DO IT! I did it two years ago and it's a super fun couple hours with tasty results!
