Finally! Spring is here. We did not have a bad winter at all, but I am just glad for it to be over with and for spring to be here. Since spring has officially arrived I have been able to enjoy many of my favorite springtime things.
The Weather

I know, I know my winter was not bad. It only snowed a little twice. But with spring warmer weather has come and the sun shines all nice and pretty. It just puts me in a more cheerful mood. What about you?
Flowers

Flowers like these always bloom at the beginning of spring and to me they are a sign of good weather and even better times.
Porches
Already I have sat out on the porch or back deck with my mom several times. We have enjoyed the weather, hearing the lovely birds sing, and soaking up the sun. These times are lazy times were I can sit back, relax, and just take things slow.
Lemonade

Springtime is the perfect time for lemonade. In fact, I enjoyed a nice cold glass of lemonade today.
Sandals

With warmer weather comes more options for clothes and for footwear. I love wearing sandals. I really really love that I can store that winter coat back in the back of the closet.
So, what about you? What are you looking forward to this spring or what have you already been enjoying?
One thing I love about America is all the porches and how they vary along just one street and all the things people have open them. In the UK people tend to sit out in their back yards but I love how people sit out facing the street in the USA.

ReplyDelete(Hmm...I'm no WEN expert but perhaps you could try another formula/scent? They've expanded their selection over the past few years so maybe there is one that works for you now :)
where i am we were lucky enough to not have much of a winter at all either! it was kind of amazing haha! i'm really looking forward to enjoying the spring weather as it continues to get warmer, and of course breaking out the spring wardrobe : )
