Easter is going to be upon us before we know it. As a little girl I always looked forward to this day as soon as April began. As my sister has already shared, at this time we all received new frilly dresses. So not only did I look forward to the Easter candy and a new dress, but I loved getting together with my siblings and cousins for our Easter egg hunt. Every year we would meet at Mamaws house and all our parents would bring eggs. Some were the plastic kind and others we could decorate ourselves. After the eggs were ready, a few of the moms would go hide the eggs and then we would be released from the house so that we could hunt those eggs down! What's your favorite part about Easter?

ReplyDeleteI loved trying to find my Easter basket. There was one year I couldn't find it and I got really upset, and it turned out my mom hid it in a place I'd told her was the best hiding spot ever several months earlier--between the outer shower curtain and the side of the tub! Suffice it to say I wasn't happy with myself. :P

Happy Easter! My favourite parts was the Polish blessing ceremony we went to (tradition) followed by copious amounts of food... and of course chocolate eating!
