Tangerine Tango

Expect to see shades of tangerine everywhere this Spring especially with Pantone's announcement that Tangerine Tango is the official color of 2012. The color is vibrant, youthful, and energetic. The reddish-orange shade emphasizes warmth and seduction. It instantly brings to mind blossoming lilies, romantic sunsets, and heat.

I love the idea of pairing tangerine with a lemony yellow or a hot pink but if you are looking for a more subtle approach stick with pairing it with neutrals or incorporating it into your look as a shade of lipstick or nail polish or as a statement piece of jewelry.

    I heard before about his color being hot in 2012 and let me tell you, it's beautiful!! I agree with you, it paired with hot pink would look stunning.
