Recently my two best friends and I decided we needed to get a little more into the Halloween spirit. So what did we do? We performed brain surgery! Nah, not really but we did carve some pumpkins! Our pumpkins are in the photos above. Mine is the pumpkin in the middle with the two ghosts! Creating a Jack-o-lantern is so much fun. We retrieved our patients and our operating utensils (actually a carving kit for like $5) and went right to work. First we sawed off the top of the head and pulled out all of the pumpkin goozles (that's what we call the slimy pumpkin insides). Then we etched our designs on our pumpkins and created fabulous works of art! It was a lot of fun and a little messy, but I am sure we are all looking forward to it next year.

I think this is the first year in a long time that I haven't actually carved pumpkins and it makes me kind of sad!

That sounds so fun, I haven't done anything that involves Halloween decorating but I would have loved to carve pumpkins. I just didn't have time, you did a great job
