Sheer Perfection

Sheer maxi skirts have been around for a while and were made popular by celebrities such as Mary Kate Olsen. While at first I was not a fan of the look it has grown on me recently as I seen it more and more on some of my favorite blogs and now I can officially say that I love this light, flowy, perfect for summer look. This trend is perfect for layering and by carefully choosing the type of skirt and the styling the look it is easy to avoid showing too much skin.

I love mixing patterns as with this polka dot maxi skirt and floral print shoes. This look is kept very casual with the cropped tee.

Red is the color that draws the most attention. The chic, nude leather jacket with the asymeterical folded front will help transition transition the sheer skirt until Fall.

I can picture wearing this look for a casual dinner with friends and then losing the heels and blazer for a lazy, evening walk along the beach. This light sherbet orange is one of my favorite colors for summer.
