Gingham is a beautiful, simple pattern. When I think of Gingham I think of cute Gingham sun dresses like the one Dorthy wears in the Wizard of Oz, but it can be used to add detail to anything in fashion from earrings to shoes to handbags. While Dorthy has that sweet wholesome look going on in her Gingham dress you can really pair this pattern with any kind of look, it is all in how you choose to make use of it.

    Gingham makes me infinitely happy. :) It is just so girly and feminine. I love it!!

    P.S. Your post title reminded me of when I was dating a guy from the country. It was horrible because nobody had any fashion sense whatsoever, so I was always "country chic" when I was out there.

    I actually really enjoy the mix of plaid with forals, I saw it in an RL ad a few years ago and been a fan since!
