Sea of Fabric

Now that Spring is here I am longing for the beach. I do not see myself getting there anytime soon though. In my thoughts of the beach I can't help but think about how magnificent the ocean must look. I love looking at photos of the water. Sunsets and sunrises look so beautiful and so do the rolling waves.



My love for the water transcends into fashion. Some designers seem to have an ability to sculpt their material into a sea of fabric. Pieces that remind me of water seem to have an effortless yet sophisticated look to them.

Look 1
Not only do I love the color of this dress but the skirt looks like a phenomenal wave of water. I thought this dress would look beautiful will plum purple heels and gold accessories.

The way the fabric cascades down the dress is like a marvelous waterfall. I also think the accessories with this dress are so pretty. I wish I had this necklace.

Look 3
I think the sides of this shirt are like the gentle rolling of the waves. This top could easily be casual when paired with jeans or for work when paired with khakis. I kept with the ocean theme when picking out my accessories with the sea turtle ring and the nautical inspired bracelet. I would also love to have these floral print shoes!
