House of Turquoise

One of my favorite colors (other than green of course) is turquoise. Turquoise is such a spring and summer color. When something is turquoise it stands out from its surroundings, everyone notices it. For these reasons, when I have my own house some day I am going to have at least a few turquoise pieces placed throughout. Below I have found some very beautiful ways to incorporate turquoise into your home. When I look at these pictures I am so inspired and wish even more that I could have the house of my dreams.



Turquoise curtains and throw pillows are an easy way to add this color to almost any room.



I LOVE the distressed turquoise of the legs of this coffee table, which would look great in a living room.

I think these headboards are absolutely amazing!



Again I am loving the distressed turquoise.



I wouldn't have ever thought about combining these two colors in the same room. But this turquoise table with the red chairs would be great to have in the kitchen, but I would prefer something a little more chic for my dining room.



And last but definitely NOT least is this gorgeous piece. It is a small but stunning way to have turquoise in a room.

    I have several turquoise pieces that were handed down to me...my grandmother painted them turquoise in the 50s so they are the genuine article. I just snagged an awesome pedestal table at a yard sale and was thinking of staining it a dark brown. After seeing that table above with the wood top and blue legs, I'm thinking of doing something like that. I'll let you know how it turns out! xoxo

    I am exactly the same way, I love green and turquoise. Those pieces are amazing and all add that extra little something fun into the space..adorable!
