We recently made these for a bake sale and they were a huge hit. They are quick and easy to make. They are so tasty. They are easily portable to take along with you for lunch or a snack or we would think they would totally delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some butterscotch sauce.
Ingredients 2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 and 1/2 cups butterscotch chips/chocolate chips/whatever is lying around (We used 3/4 cup butterscotch chips, 1/4 cup white chocolate chips, 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips.)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add in eggs one at a time until incorporated. Stir in vanilla. 3. Add flour to the butter mixture and then add your butterscotch/chocolate chips and stir until batter is smooth. 4. Spread evenly into a pan that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. 5. Bake 20-25 minutes, until the edges are golden brown. Happy baking,
